The band "Zveri" performed in the occupied Donetsk: Putin supporter Bilik cynically mentioned his childhood in Horlivka

The once-popular Russian rock band "Zveri," led by lead singer Roma Bilyk, has performed in Russian-occupied Donetsk. The musicians, who had previously condemned the war and Russian aggression after the full-scale invasion, are now seen enjoying the occupied Ukrainian territories and regularly performing there.

On this occasion, "Zveri" performed for the "active youth of Donbas," as reported by propaganda Telegram channels.

The Putinists organized a music show for the young residents of the occupied city, featuring songs played with a guitar, performed under the flags of the Russian Federation and the so-called "DPR." Following the performance, Bilyk happily spoke to propagandists, expressing his enjoyment of visiting cities captured by Russia.

In addition, the singer noted that he plans to visit Horlivka, Donetsk region. He spent a lot of time there as a child, because his grandparents lived in Horlivka.

"My grandparents lived in Horlivka. I just want to see this house because there was a cherry tree there that I used to pick. I remember this tree and this house. This is my childhood, I would like to see it," said Z-patriot.

It should be noted that Bilyk lived in Mariupol from 1989 to 1993, and also lived in Kyiv for some time. After the full-scale invasion, anti-war posts appeared on the pages of the Zveri group and Roma himself.

"Zveri" group is against the war! Like all sane people, we are against any military action. It is necessary to stop hostilities as soon as possible and resolve the issue exclusively at the negotiating table," the musicians wrote.

However, in August 2023, there was a drastic change, as "Zveri" performed for the occupiers, singing their songs and even launching a shell from a tank towards Ukrainian positions.

As previously reported by OBOZ.UA, Roma Bilyk was trolled by Ukrainian musician Andriy Khlyvnyuk, who used a drone to say "hello" to Putin with lyrics from one of his own tracks. The host Andriy Bednyakov also addressed "Zveri," reminding them of Mariupol.
