The 60-year-old Everywhere All at Once star married her 77-year-old lover after 19 years of engagement. Photo of the happy couple
Michelle Yeoh, the 60-year-old star of the film Everywhere All at Once, a Malaysian actress of Chinese descent who won an Oscar this year, married the former president of the International Automobile Federation, 77-year-old Jean Todt. They have been engaged since 2004.
The wedding took place in Geneva, Switzerland. The ceremony was attended only by the couple's closest friends and family. The photo was posted by Brazilian race car driver Felipe Massa on Instagram (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).
He posted a touching card with a love story of his friends. It said that the lovers met in Shanghai on 4 June 2004, and on 26 July they celebrated their engagement. On 27 July 2023, exactly 19 years later, they got married.
Judging by the photos, the Oscar also played a role. In many shots, guests and newlyweds hold it in their hands.
This is the bride's second marriage, and Jean has a son from a previous relationship. Yeoh chose a non-standard cream-coloured dress. Later, the star changed into a more comfortable outfit.
The groom spent the day in a classic two-piece suit with a blue tie. The photos were taken spontaneously or unprofessionally, so we can assume that the lovers refused to use a photographer.
