Suspilne shows first photos of the updated stage for Ukraine's Eurovision 2025 National Selection final

Suspilne presented a new stage for the National Selection for Eurovision 2025, which was developed in cooperation with Starlight Production. The audience and the finalists will have a two-tiered updated podium and a huge screen in front of it.

According to the creative producer, German Nenov, the main goal is to create a stage that will remind of a big show and reveal the personality of each performer. He told this to Suspilne.

There were six stage areas: two tiers of the main stage, a podium divided by a central cube, and a spacious greenroom for 10 teams of participants.

"When creating the stage, I had two main goals. Firstly, the stage should introduce the audience to each finalist of the National Selection, so it was important for me to make it a so-called portrait stage. The second goal is that the stage space should resemble the one of the big Eurovision Song Contest," Nenov said.

The fan zone is also returning to this National Selection, which, together with the stands, will create the atmosphere of an international competition. The organizers also promise a record number of screens and light structures with a 360-degree effect, which will allow filming from any angle.

"The stage platforms will create diverse opportunities for our participants' performances. We are grateful to our scenographers for these powerful technical opportunities: Pylyp Nirod and Taras Balan from Starlight Scenery," said Borys Pustovyi, project manager at Starlight Production.

The scenography is based on the concept of the "Musical DNA of the Nation", which combines the heart - the symbol of Eurovision, music waves and stylized DNA. Special light planes and LED columns will help to create unique performances for each artist.

The final of Ukraine's Eurovision 2025 National Selection will start at 18:00 on February 8, when the jury and viewers will vote to determine the representative of Ukraine at the international music show. It will be hosted by showman Timur Miroshnychenko, journalist Maria Yefrosynina and comedian Vasyl Baidak.
