Siamese twin TikTok stars talk about relationships with men: Carmen and Lupita's video went viral

Carmen and Lupita Andrade, 23, have different hairstyles, makeup, and accessories, but they share organs and limbs below the waist. The Siamese twins answered a common question from TikTok users.

The sisters live in the same body and share a common bloodstream, so if one of them drinks alcohol, both will feel intoxicated, Metro reports. But "we are still two different people," Carmen says, because they have their own IDs and social security numbers.

Originally from Mexico, before moving to Connecticut, USA, the girls despaired of doctors' predictions that the babies would live only a few days after birth. Now they are old enough to confront the myths about the life of Siamese twins. In a video on TikTok that has been viewed more than 9.8 million times, Carmen and Lupita revealed some of the truths they live with.

"One of us can be awake, and the other one can be asleep," Carmen said, "It's funny because I fall asleep earlier than Lupita, but when [my boyfriend] is visiting, I fall asleep quickly, and he's awake and talking to her.

They also cannot control each other's limbs, but if one of them dies, the other will soon follow. Carmen said: "We share a common bloodstream, so eventually sepsis will set in and obviously in a few hours or days the other one will die."

Some strangers wanted to know how they have sex if they share a reproductive system. Both sisters have endometriosis, and Carmen discovered that she and Lupita could not have children.

She has been dating her boyfriend Daniel for three years, so she realized that he loves only her, not her sister, who is asexual. Carmen instantly realized that he was different from all the men who fetishize Siamese twins: "I never tried to hide the fact that I was a Siamese twin, which meant I got a lot of messages from guys with fetishes."
