Famous American actress Shannen Doherty, who suffers from the fourth stage of breast cancer, showed a photo of herself after brain surgery. The star of the cult TV series Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210 had a tumor removed.

The corresponding photo appeared on the celebrity's Instagram page. As you know, the operation took place in January 2023, but Doherty decided to recall her emotions during that difficult period only now. The removal of the tumor coincided with the betrayal of her husband, who left the actress just before she went to the hospital.

In the released footage, Doherty is lying in a hospital room with her eyes closed, and a slight smile can be seen on her face. Despite this, the actress admits that she felt very scared.

"In January 2023, I had brain surgery to remove a tumor. What I have on my forehead was meant for mapping. I didn't ask questions, I was just overwhelmed by fear and too much going on. And this was the moment when they gave me some medication to relax me before putting me to sleep. Obviously, I liked it," the star commented.

Doherty's fans expressed their support for her under the post and called the actress a "warrior" who inspires many people not to give up. The commenters also did not hide the fact that the hospital photo seriously scared them.

It should be noted that in 2015, the actress was first diagnosed with breast cancer, after which she underwent a mastectomy (surgical removal of the mammary glands), chemotherapy, and radiation. In 2017, the celebrity announced that she was in remission, and two years later, the cancer returned. Shannen Doherty said she suffers from stage 4 metastatic cancer.

While fighting the disease, Shannen also experienced personal hardships, including in her marriage. Photographer Kurt Isvarienko left the actress after 11 years of marriage just before a crucial surgery to remove a tumor from her brain. It was a big blow to Doherty, who later said she felt depressed and betrayed.
