Sergei Babkin and the band 5'nizza were caught collaborating with Russians. Snezhana Babkina reacted
Ukrainian media "Slukh" has cited evidence that singer Sergei Babkin and the band 5'nizza are working with a Russian promoter to organize concerts abroad. Snezhana Babkina, the director of the artists, reacted to the accusations of cooperation with the Russians.
She confirmed that the stars are dealing with a former Russian citizen, but he declared his anti-war stance. The post with all the evidence was posted on Instagram "Rumor" (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).
The media was approached by a reader, who conducted a small investigation on the network. After analysis, it became clear that Ukrainians use the services of Somewhere Show promoter. The languages of the website are Russian and English, which already serves as an alarm bell for those wishing to attend events organized by Somewhere Show.
In general, the mentioned company-organizer of events focuses on emigrant stars from the Russian Federation touring Europe. Sometimes on their website there are offers to buy a ticket to the concerts of Ukrainian artists.
Trying to book a seat for the performance of 5ʼnizza and Sergei Babkin, users were thrown to pay for tickets through the Ticketscloud site (after the scandal - to the GoOut site). It is reported that this ticket operator has a representative office in Moscow and was founded in Russia.
In addition, Ticketscloud cooperates with Russian companies. Among them: "Yandex Afisha", "Concert ru", Comedy Club, etc.
"Upon inquiry from the publication "Rumor", I asked again if any Russian companies are related to our concert, to which I received a reply: "The ticket operator referred to by the editorial board is registered in the UK, but has a representative office in Russia among other countries." Ideally, it would be good if no company had any representative offices in a terrorist country, but, unfortunately, this is not the case so far," Snezhana Babkina replied.
According to the artists' director, the organizer of Sergei Babkin's concert in Prague is a longtime friend of the star, who was born and raised in Russia but has been an Israeli citizen for many years. We are talking about Ilya Ostrovsky, who, according to Babkina, "actively helps Ukraine's struggle by all means available to him".
Earlier OBOZREVATEL wrote that the group Quest Pistols was accused of performing in front of Russians in Bali during the full-scale invasion of Russia. The collective gave a concert at the birthday party of Russian-speaking guests.
