Russian supermodel Irina Shayk, who in 2022 got into a high-profile scandal over the fascist letter Z, disgraced herself with bad makeup at a fashion event. As part of London Fashion Week, a new spring-summer collection by Nigerian-born designer Movalola Ogunlesi was shown, in which a Russian woman took part.

She took to the catwalk with a "beaten" face, for which Shayk was sharply criticized around the world. Angry comments appeared under the model's Instagram post (scroll to the bottom of the page to see the photo).

The Mowalola brand was the first to come under attack, and later the turn came to the participants of the scandalous show. The models were accused of romanticizing violence.

Many of Shayk's English-speaking followers from around the world left angry comments shaming the Russian woman for not supporting women victims of abuse and passing off bruises on her face as an "accessory."

"Since when did domestic violence become fashionable?" "Why do makeup as if you've just been beaten", "What kind of look is this domestic violence style? Not chic", "Promoting physical violence is not fashionable at all", "Since when did violence become a theme of a runway show?" were written in the comments.

Shayk took to the catwalk in a silver floor-length dress and an elongated sweatshirt with the rapper 2PAC on it. Her expression was gloomy, which only emphasized the bruises and scratches on her face.

After the show, she decided not to wash off the controversial makeup. Instead, the Russian woman organized a photo shoot for her blog, ignoring the criticism of her followers.

Earlier, OBOZREVATEL wrote that Irina Shayk became a laughingstock in Cannes, where she showed up in an inappropriate outfit. The half-naked model wanted to attract attention, but ran into hate.
