Russian singer Polina Gagarina, who publicly expresses her support for the Kremlin's occupation regime, shared her desire to perform in Europe. However, for this to happen, her lawsuit in the EU court, where she demands that the sanctions imposed on her for supporting the war be lifted, has to be approved.

The statement was published on the official website of the institution. The artist, who often participates in propaganda concerts, insists that the decision of the Council of the European Union be annulled.

To support their position, the singer's lawyers cite four legal arguments. According to the Russians, when Gagarina was included in the sanctions list, the following rules were violated: the obligation to state a reason, the obligation to provide evidence, the principle of proportionality, and the principle of freedom of expression.

As a reminder, the Putin fan was sanctioned by the EU on June 24, 2024. Since then, Polina Gagarina has been able to perform in Russia and "partner" countries - North Korea and Iran - only. Singer Shaman, actors Vyacheslav Manucharov and Ivan Okhlobystin also made it to the list.

It is not for nothing that the propagandist wants to get rid of sanctions imposed by the Council of the European Union so bad - they have led to the removal of her music from the most popular platforms. On the night of June 27, there even was a cyberattack and her Spotify account was deleted. Later, Gagarina's channel disappeared from the American video hosting giant YouTube.
