The royal family of Liechtenstein has announced the engagement of Crown Prince Alois's daughter, Princess Maria Carolina, to Leopoldo Maduro Vollmer. Although the monarchs do not disclose the details of the couple's relationship, it is known that the lovers live in London.

Princess Maria, who is not the heir to the throne, currently works in the fashion industry in the British capital, while her future husband is engaged in investment management. Marie Caroline, 28, the second child of Prince Alois and his wife Sophie, was born in Switzerland, where she was educated. She later attended Malvern College in Worcestershire, England, and then studied fashion design at the Parsons School of Design in Paris and New York.

Leopoldo, 33, who was born in Caracas, Venezuela, was also educated in the UK, studying at Harrow School and the University of St. Andrews, and later completed postgraduate studies at Queens College, University of Cambridge.
