Princess Diana's nieces, Lady Amelia Spencer and Lady Eliza Spencer appeared at the British Fashion Awards 2024 in dresses that looked as much as possible like the "revenge dress" that Lady Dee wore after she found out about her husband Charles III's infidelity. The sisters chose black sheath dresses with bare shoulders, but with different necklines and accessories. 

The twins, the daughters of Diana's younger brother Charles Spencer, repeated the infamous "revenge dress," but their looks had an important difference in length. Princess Diana broke the protocol for her outfit and chose a dress above the knees, while the sisters decided to opt for an evening style - to the floor. British Fashion Awards 2024 took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Amelia Spencer's dress had a V-neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves. She complemented her look with a sparkling diamond necklace, bracelet, rings and drop earrings with precious stones - a complete set of accessories.

Meanwhile, Eliza Spencer wore a very similar black dress, but with a different, straighter neckline and wide, lowered straps. She, like her twin sister, decided to use a full set of diamond jewelry. Both girls gathered their blonde hair in a bun at the back of their heads to emphasize the beauty of their shoulders and neck.

What is the peculiarity of Princess Diana's "revenge dress"

On June 29, 1994, the ITV channel aired the documentary Charles: The Private Man, the Public Role. It was the first time the future king admitted that he had been cheating on his wife, Princess Diana. Lady Dee responded by preparing a reaction for the press and, having accepted an invitation to a charity dinner organized by Vanity Fair magazine at the Serpentine Gallery in London, she appeared in public in an outfit with bare shoulders, a deep neckline and a length above the knees.

The princess bought this outfit back in 1991 for a "special occasion". Back then, she asked the dressmakers to make something very special for her, and it had to be black. Thus, the "revenge dress" remained untouched in Lady Dee's wardrobe for three years.
