Prince William gives encouraging news about Kate Middleton's condition as she undergoes chemotherapy
The Prince of Wales responded to concerns about the health of his wife, Kate Middleton, who is currently undergoing chemotherapy. William is on a visit to Portsmouth to meet with veterans and mark the 80th anniversary of the landings along the Normandy coast during World War II.
One of the heroes asked the monarch if the Princess of Wales was on the mend, HELLO writes. The Duke replied: "Yes. She would love to be here."
Kate has not been seen in public for several months. Her last high-profile appearance was in March when she made a video from her home in Windsor and revealed her cancer diagnosis. Her husband William has been spending a lot of time at home with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, as well as performing royal duties.
William joined King Charles and Queen Camilla at the June 5 event. The prince appeared before the public with a new medal around his neck, signifying the title of Grand Master of the most honorable order of the Bath. He also donned four medals, signifying the Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee, Platinum Jubilee, and Coronation medals.
