Popular TV actor shot dead in the middle of the street in Los Angeles

Johnny Vector, an actor in the films General Hospital, Siberia, and USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage, was found shot dead in the middle of the street in Los Angeles, USA. The 37-year-old man was robbed around 3:30 am on May 26.

The actor's mother, Scarlet, told TMZ that he was with a colleague at the time and noticed three people hanging around his car. According to the woman, her son did not get into a fight and did not even try to stop the robbers, but he was shot anyway.

It is known that paramedics immediately arrived at the scene, but the actor's life could not be saved.

The police did not provide any description of the killers, but the media speculated that the robbers were trying to steal the catalytic converter, as a similar incident was reported at the same time.

Later, the actor's mother told ABC7 that at first her son thought his car was being towed and approached the man to find out why. Then the suspect looked up and opened fire. At the time, the robber was wearing a mask.

"Not just a talented actor who was dedicated to his work, but also a real moral example for everyone who knew him. He stood for hard work, perseverance and never gave up. In the ups and downs of a difficult profession, he always kept his chin up and continued to strive for the best," his agent David Schaul described the deceased in a conversation with People.

Johnny Vactor is best known for his role as Brando Corbin, the husband of drug addict Sasha Corbin, on the 61-season series General Hospital. The man played in almost 200 episodes from 2020 to 2022.
