Plunged into work: how was the fate of the winner of the "X-Factor" Dmitriy Babak and where he is now

The winner of the fifth season of the show "X-Factor" Dmytro Babak opened his own music studio in Kyiv. Nine years have passed since the guy won, and he is trying his hand as an author and performer of his own songs, as well as in the beauty sphere.

Ukrainians also know Dmytro thanks to his participation in "The Voice of the Country" - in this show, he lost the victory to Kristina Soloviy. OBOZREVATEL tells about the fate of the artist.

Dmytro Babak was born on April 30, 1992, in the city of Petrovske (since 2016 - Petrovo-Krasnoselye) in the Luhansk region. He recently turned 31 years old.

His mother worked at a chemical plant, and his father was always on the earnings, so for most of his childhood Dmytro was brought up by his grandmother and grandfather.

Since he was 8 years old, Dmytro was a vocalist, so he decided to tie his life to music and look for his place in show business.

Graduated in nine grades, specializing as a mechanic in auto repair. He later graduated with honors from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Lugansk, where he majored in pop singing.

The country first heard about him in 2013 thanks to the project "The Voice of the Country", where he competed as part of the team of Sviatoslav Vakarchuk. At one of the stages of the show, Dmytro lost to singer Kristina Soloviy.

But in 2014, he won the fifth season of "X Factor" by singing Bulat Okudzhava's song "Prayer".

After the project, Dmytro Babak immediately plunged headlong into work. He recorded an album and shot several music videos. In 2018, together with another Ukrainian singer Tatiana Piskareva, he participated in the national selection for Eurovision from Belarus. However, they still did not go to the contest.

Dmytro also opened his own music studio in Kyiv, where he taught pop and jazz crafts.

And in August 2022, he said that he graduated from hairdressing courses and now works in a salon in the center of the capital. "There's still little experience, but diligence and desire are an integral part of me. Haircuts for the military are free," Dmytro said.

After winning the "X Factor" it became known that Dmytro Babak has a girlfriend Daryna. They are still together.
