People's Artist of Ukraine Vitaliy Belonozhko died: he celebrated his 70th birthday in summer
On Tuesday, January 9, Vitaliy Belonozhko, a well-known Ukrainian singer, founder and organizer of the Melody of Two Hearts International Family Creativity Festival, passed away. The heart of the People's Artist of Ukraine stopped beating at the age of 71.
The tragic news was reported on the Facebook page of the Bury City Council. In June of this year, Vitaliy celebrated his birthday.
The cause of death of the celebrity has not yet been reported.
"Back in the summer, we congratulated Vitaliy Belonozhko on his bright anniversary, plunged into the world of his Sloboda childhood together in memories, wished him well, invited him to visit the Buryn region, and rejoiced in his greetings from his fellow countrymen. Vytautas Belonozhko was always a welcome guest in the Buryn region, his performances on concert stages became a real holiday for his fellow countrymen, gathering hundreds and thousands of fans. The words of his songs, which flowed through the silver strings of the singer's soul like a prayer, like a testament, like a guideline, like a memory of childhood, touched my heart," the city council's page says about the artist.
Belonozhko was born on June 11, 1953, in the village of Sloboda, Buryn district, Sumy region. During his lifetime, he released six CDs in Ukraine, the United States, and Canada, an anthology of his own work, and 12 audio cassettes.
In 1999, together with his wife, People's Artist of Ukraine, former operetta soloist and former UT-1 announcer Svitlana Belonozhko, he founded the regular International Family Art Festival "Melody of Two Hearts", one of the most successful in the country.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that on October 14, at the age of 80, the heart of the soloist of the National Opera, People's Artist of Ukraine and conservatory professor Oleksandr Vostriakov stopped beating. The outstanding singer died due to a serious illness.
