Oscar-winning French film director Michel Hazanavicius has arrived in Kyiv. He is also an ambassador of the UNITED24 global initiative in support of Ukraine and is visiting Ukrainians for the third time in 10 months.
The photo appeared on the Telegram channel of the UNITED24 platform. "Greetings, dear Michel. Thank you for being here," the post says (to see the photo, scroll to the end of the page).
The Frenchman will be in Ukraine for several "busy" days, during which he will work for the sake of Ukraine. He will be a guest at the third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which is organized by Olena Zelenska.
The celebrity was photographed outside the Kyiv-Passenger Central Railway Station.
Michel Hazanavicius was in Ukraine in February this year when he and Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina visited the Kyiv region destroyed by the Russians during the occupation.
He also made a large contribution (125 thousand euros or 5 million hryvnias) to Olena Zelenska's charity fund. The money was directed to the restoration of the Izium City Hospital. The director chose the Restoration of Ukraine subfund.
Michel Hazanavicius together with other world stars recorded congratulations for Ukrainians on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine. The celebrities recited Volodymyr Sosiura's poem Love Ukraine in Ukrainian.
By the way, Hazanavicius's grandmother lived in Kovel, Volyn region. He has been supporting Ukrainians in the fight against the Russians since the first days of the full-scale war.
