One of the sign language interpreters of the National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 turned out to be a fan of the Moscow Patriarchate

Olga Bunaziv turned out to be a fan of the Moscow Patriarchate

The national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Ukraine was inclusive, so for people with hearing impairments, all songs, as well as comments from participants, judges, hosts, etc., were translated into sign language by two sign language interpreters. One of them was Olga Bunaziv. Imagine the disappointment of the Eurofans when they learned that Olga is an ardent fan of the UOC-MP, who admires the head of the Moscow Patriarchate, Epiphanius, and thus tolerates Russia.

This was noticed by netizens who analyzed the Bunaziv's Instagram page. It didn't take long to find it - the first thing that catches your eye when you go to the sign language interpreter's profile is a whole series of stories called UOC.

The "ambiguous" position of the sign language interpreter is already being actively discussed on the X network (formerly Twitter).

One user wrote: "So, this is Olga Bunaziv. She tolerates r*snia, quotes the head of the Moscow Patriarchate, compares Epiphany to you know who... One of the two Eurovision sign language interpreters is drowning for the Moscow Patriarchate and posts such wild things as "the driver was stopped at the recycling center in Bakhmut."

Since March 2023, Bunaziv has been actively informing almost 8,000 of her subscribers about how "canonical" and "holy" the church under the Moscow Patriarchate is. The girl sincerely believes that the UOC is in no way connected to Russia, so it cannot be blamed for "all sins." At the same time, Olha is dismissive of the OCU when she writes all the letters of this acronym with a lowercase letter.

"In Ukraine, there is the UOC and the OCU. In the UOC, His Beatitude Onuphry was elected by the Ukrainian people and the priesthood. In the OCU, Bartholomew is the self-proclaimed blessed one, no one elected him. Then it's simple: the OCU has united with the authorities and is eager to destroy the UOC. Spreading false rumors that this parish works for Moscow, serves in the Russian language, sends all its funds to Russia... This has never happened. There were relations, we are neighboring states, and we tried to somehow establish them so that everything would be fine, and the name of Patriarch Kirill was honored in the churches. 3 with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the UOC, seeing the true face of the enemy, severed all ties," Olha is convinced.

In addition, it regularly publishes calls for the preservation of the Moscow Patriarchate and states: "The more we are persecuted, the more we gather. Churches are being taken away, pilgrimage buses are being stopped and confiscated, and people are being threatened with criminal liability, but people come and pray in the open air near the church! People are not afraid of anything, because they are not guilty of anything, but those who commit this lawlessness, I feel very sorry for you, because you will still face the judgment of God."

Reacting to Olga's words, a netizen noted: "Dear, when will the Moscow Patriarchate answer for harboring the FSB, for Russian passports, for storing and smuggling weapons, and other holy deeds? Olga, I would advise you to learn the history of where the Moscow Patriarchate originated, why it is not canonical, how our churches were taken away from us, how the Muscovites prayed for Stalin, and how the hebists in cassocks held services."

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that SKYLERR, a participant of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024, withdrew her candidacy a few hours before the winner was announced. She did this allegedly because of a large-scale failure in the "Diia" app, which was used for the audience voting. However, Suspilne rejected the singer.
