A thorough examination showed a negative result, but the doctor decided to play it safe by ordering additional tests, and he was right. Olivia Munn shared this news on Instagram.

"Over the past ten months, I have undergone four surgeries and spent so many days in bed that I can't even count. I've learned more about cancer, its treatment, and hormones than I could have ever imagined. I kept the diagnosis a secret so that people wouldn't see my anxiety and hospital gowns," the celebrity shared.

She called herself "lucky" because the disease was detected at a stage when surgery could still help her. The American woman wished her female followers to never have to face this diagnosis.

"I let people look after me when I have the strength when I can get dressed and leave the house, when I can walk with my son in the park. I needed to catch my breath and go through the hardest moments before sharing," the actress explained her silence.

Her comedian lover John Mulaney was by her side at the time, as well as her closest family. A few years ago, the artist became a mother for the first time, so the support of her son was also important for the movie star.
