Olia Poliakova's daughter was expelled from the world's most prestigious music university: she thought she would get a job
For the first time, Ukrainian singer Olia Poliakova has revealed that her eldest daughter Masha was expelled from the world's most prestigious university, Berkeley, located in America. According to the singer, the problem arose because her heiress did not arrive at the university on time.
The 45-year-old artist told about this in the project "20:23" on Zhenia Yanovych's YouTube channel. The star noted that the young woman thought she could use emotions or bribe the representatives of the educational institution to get her reinstated, but it was not so easy.
"She enrolled there 1.5 years ago and was going to leave. But she had an operation, so she stayed. Now a year has passed. Marusia was supposed to go to America but decided that she had too many things to do here. It took her a long time to get her visa, then her teeth, then something else, and something else. Anyway, she arrived in Boston and said: "Mom, I'm not allowed to enter the country." I ask her why she's not allowed in, and she doesn't know. I raise the whole of Boston, some friends, and they can't find out anything. I was already turning gray, and then she calls me and says that she was allowed into the country on a tourist visa, but her student visa was canceled. She came to the university and was told: "You did not arrive on time. Your visa was canceled and you were expelled," the singer said.
Olia Poliakova admitted that she reacted quite emotionally to the news from her daughter. Earlier, Masha Poliakova had written a letter to the university, warning that she would arrive later. However, as it turned out, if a student fails to arrive at the university on time, he or she is automatically expelled.
"And she thought that she would come, cry, crawl on her knees, tear her hair, give it to someone to paw. She thinks that everything can be solved because that's how we do it. Mom will call someone and solve something," the singer said.
In conclusion, Olia Poliakova noted that her 19-year-old daughter did manage to resume her studies. In two months, Masha Poliakova will go to university.
