Ukrainian theater and film actress Olga Sumska has admitted that she cannot resume relations with her older sister Natalia, but hopes that this will happen soon. On Christmas Day, the celebrity is expecting a call from her relative, but she admits that she also calls her from time to time.

However, she does not disclose whether she is answered on the other end of the phone. In an interview with the program "The Incredible Truth About Stars," Olga Sumska admitted that she would be happy to hear her sister's voice on the phone.

"I am waiting for this call. If it comes, I will be happy. I do this (call - Ed.) from time to time. In my dreams I see our meeting, and often," she said.

It is known that before the full-scale invasion, Olga and Natalia Sumsky were inactive in their contact, but since the beginning of 2024, their communication has come to a standstill. This happened because of Olga Sumska's daughter, Antonina Paperna, who lives in Russia and does not speak out about the war in her homeland.

"There are many extraordinary events happening around us that affect us. We work in the same industry, we have certain priorities and lifestyles. Obviously, this lifestyle is different. I cannot tell people how to live their lives. I choose this way, someone else chooses differently," the artist said. She also stopped communicating with Antonina.

Similarly, she has almost no contact with Natalia Sumska's son, Vyacheslav Khostikoyev. The reason was the artist's daughter Antonina Paperna, who is also his cousin. Khostikoyev spoke harshly about a Ukrainian woman living in the Russian Federation who is silent about the war, and the Honored Artist of Ukraine did not agree with her nephew's words. Moreover, she found them offensive, so the relatives quarreled and stopped communicating.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA wrote that Olga Sumska showed archival photos of her mother, an actress who died in the midst of the Russian invasion. She admitted that she was grateful to her for the life she had given her and for the opportunity to "be her daughter."
