Oleksii Zalewskyi is diagnosed with bone necrosis: the famous designer may remain bedridden

Famous Ukrainian film director and designer Oleksii Zalevskyi admitted that he was diagnosed with a serious musculoskeletal disease - bone necrosis. The celebrity's bone tissue is slowly deteriorating, which can eventually lead to dire consequences if treatment is not started in time.

The cultural figure and fashion expert spoke about this after an interview with TSN, not wanting to reveal his illness to the public. As the journalists found out, only surgery can help him.

The surgery costs 14 thousand euros (581 thousand hryvnias), which Oleksii Zalevskyi does not have at the moment. However, the designer urgently needs to undergo two surgeries on his hips. In the worst-case scenario, he may remain bedridden for the rest of his life.

"I wouldn't want to speculate on this topic, there are many military people who also need help. That's why I didn't want to talk about it publicly," Zalevskyi explained off-camera.

He doesn't want to ask his friends or acquaintances for money. Instead, the filmmaker is actively looking for work, editing the film, studying film programs, and looking for income in Ukraine and abroad.

"I am a pensioner. I'm not joking. I have an official pension of 2070 hryvnias. That's how we live. I am looking for some kind of work. While I still had time, I started learning editing programs and color correction," the director said.

At one time, he worked on TV shows, made movies, and collaborated with stars. However, now the demand for services and clothes of a star has fallen.
