Nadia Dorofeeva showed footage from her first photo shoot 25 years ago and told how she was cheated out of a "cosmic amount"

Ukrainian singer Nadia Dorofeeva shared an archival photo with her fans where she was only 9 years old. Back then, the artist attended the first photo shoot in her life, which she remembered forever because she and her parents ran into fraudsters.

The 34-year-old celebrity posted the photos on her Instagram page. She noted that such an unpleasant incident helped her realize that every event in life has a special meaning.

"This is my first photo shoot. I'm 9 years old here, and as you can see and as they write on the Internet, I already have pierced lips. This shoot cost my family 2500 UAH – a huge amount at the time! As it turned out later, we came across scammers who were cheating many families out of their money, pretending to be some kind of agency that would then help them with their modeling and artistic careers. There was a whole scandal on TV afterward, and they were closed down," the celebrity wrote.

According to Nadia Dorofeeva, after this incident, her family has 10 good photos and many memories of Kyiv. The artist realized that any event in life teaches people important lessons. It's up to everyone to choose whether or not to use them.

"The first lesson I learned from this is that lip pencil makes your lips look bigger, even without injections. And the second and main one is that if you want to achieve your dream, don't complain about the circumstances around you. No one but you can make your dream come true, just get up and do it!" the celebrity added.
