Mysterious red spots spotted on Trump's hand: photo confused the network

Strange spots spotted on Donald Trump's hand

Former US President Donald Trump was spotted with strange spots on his hand as he walked to court this morning to hear the accusations of journalist and writer Jean Carroll, a victim of Trump's attempted rape in 1996. The politician waved his right hand to the cameras and at the same time showed strange red spots on his index finger, thumb, and upper palm.

The social network X was shaken by these "wounds". Many users wrote sarcastic jokes to ridicule the former president, such as "he must have touched holy water" and "maybe he was raking the forest." Interestingly, by the evening, these stains had disappeared, as the palms were clean in the evening photos from the press conference.

Dr. Joshua Zeichner, an associate professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, told Business Insider about three possible ways Trump could have "wounds."

1. Too dry hands

Zeichner said that dryness is the most common cause of blisters and wounds. It can be caused either by the weather or by excessive hand washing. The second option has a chance to exist, because Trump claimed to be a "germaphobe," that is, a person who is afraid of germs.

2. Playing golf

Trump loves to play golf, as evidenced by numerous photos of him playing. Therefore, according to Zeichner, the blisters can be caused by "friction from activities such as golf, weightlifting, or baseball." It is worth noting that the wound is located on the part of the palm that holds the club.

3. Lime juice

Zeichner said that "even lime juice, when exposed to sunlight, can cause a chemical burn to the skin." This process is also known as a "Margarita burn". But such a scenario is unlikely because, firstly, Trump does not drink alcohol, and secondly, there was almost no sunlight that day.

Among the possibilities for the injuries cited by X users were syphilis, gun training, nosebleeds that Trump did not wipe off his hands, ketchup, and even Photoshop. However, no one will know the original source of these stains until Donald Trump himself speaks about them.
