Miss France 2023 winner with pixie hairstyle admitted that she lengthened her height for the pageant and showed herself with long hair. Photo
The newly crowned Miss France 2023, 20-year-old Eve Gilles from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, was forced to lengthen her height to participate in the contest, which was at the epicenter of a scandal. The jury's choice was criticized for the fact that the newly crowned woman was a woman with a short hairstyle, so she showed herself with long curls in response.
According to the winner of the contest, it is "not just a haircut" but a personality. Eve Gilles deliberately chose such an atypical look, with which she has shocked the show more than once, the Daily Mail writes.
"I'm a human being, and criticism inevitably hurts me. My body is what it is. Whether I like it or not, this is who I am. You can't please everyone, and that's okay. You have to accept yourself and ignore the criticism even if it's hard," Miss France told local TV channel TF1.
On her social media, she also shared that she might not have been selected for the prestigious contest if she hadn't started stretching some time before.
Exercise helped the beauty to "stretch" to meet the criteria. Participants must be at least 1.7 meters tall, but Eve was 1.695 meters tall.
The first winner with short hair in the 103-year history of the pageant stands firm against all the accusations of haters and advises them to come to terms with her victory.
She also showed her archival photos where she had long hair. In some of them, the star posed with hair that almost reached her knees. However, this was in her childhood.
As OBOZ.UA wrote earlier, the new owner of the prestigious Miss Universe title, Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua, got into a loud scandal. Not everyone at home is happy about the beauty as some details from her past that the government does not like have surfaced. Read more in our article.
