Masha Fokina releases a new music video in which she hints at a breakup with her loved one

On November 22, Ukrainian singer, model and actress Masha Fokina released a new music video for her song "Prosto Tak" (Just Like That). In this track, she frankly revealed the topic of acute emotional experiences when breaking up with a loved one.

"This song is about the fact that there can be no continuation in a relationship where people have become indifferent to each other.

There is no need to hold on to memories. We live here and now, this is our life.

This is a song about women who continue to live in unhappy relationships but cannot admit to themselves that it is time to end them.

I was "inspired" to write it by the story of a close friend whose breakup with her husband was long and painful. It takes a lot of courage to say "STOP" one day and leave a relationship that brings nothing but pain," Masha Fokina said.

Along with the track comes a music video, filmed with director Olena Viniarska, with whom Masha is working for the first time.

"We've known each other for many years, but we've never worked together as an artist or director. I was looking for a team with whom I would shoot the video for the track "Prosto Tak" for a long time. I had an idea, but I didn't know with whom to realize it. By chance, I met Olena, agreed on a deal in 15 minutes, and 4 days later we met on the set. We understood each other on the spot."

"Just Like That" is very different from the singer's previous music releases.

The track was arranged by the famous sound producer Tomash Lukach, with whom Masha Fokina has been working for over 4 years.

"We've been working with Tomash for quite some time. I feel very comfortable with him, he feels me like no one else before. I can't say that the song is very different from anything we've done before. But it's definitely more mature. Because we are growing up. I've grown up too," Masha Fokina adds.

The author of the lyrics and music for "Just Like That" is Anhelina Bukovska.

The singer, who is currently in Kyiv, plans to present her new album soon.
