On December 21, the Ukrainian singer Maks Barskykh's concert "Christmas Starfall" took place at the Kyiv Sports Palace. The 34-year-old star performed his most popular hits and prepared a special surprise for his fans by announcing the release of an English-language album.

Right from the stage, the artist supported the prisoners of war and called on all citizens to remember our defenders who risk their lives every day to protect their homeland. The singer's press service told OBOZ.UA some interesting details from the celebrity's high-profile performance.

Since the concert was timed to coincide with Christmas, we chose stylized decorations with red shades. By the way, Maks Barskykh himself appeared in the first parts of the show as a modern St. Nicholas. He performed his most popular hits, including: "Shores", "Fogs", "I'm Not You Anymore", "In Your Eyes", "Dance" and many others.

Maks Barskykh prepared an unexpected performance for his fans to perform the song "Rhythms", which he recorded with his colleague Nadia Dorofeeva. Instead of the artist, a non-binary person appeared on stage, dressed as a celebrity. But the surprises from the star of the event did not end there. Barskykh announced an English-language record that will be available to fans of his work next spring.

Unfortunately, the performance was not without its unforeseen events. Due to the air alert in the capital, the concert had to be stopped for 30 minutes, but after the alert was lifted, the entertainment event continued. Before performing the symbolic song "There Will Be Spring," the singer made a speech in support of women who had returned from captivity and were tortured.

"Friends, today, when we sing the song "There Will Be Spring" together, I want each of us to remember those people who returned from captivity. They are among us and need our support. Let us remember the people who saved us and are saving us at the cost of their own lives. They were able to come back, and we have to take care of them and make sure that the Ukrainian spring warms their souls," said Maks Barskykh.
