Klopotenko in pink sneakers, Zaluzhnyi in black jeans: the network was captured by a photo from London
Ukrainian chef Yevhen Klopotenko met with the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and now Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK Valerii Zaluzhnyi. The restaurateur shared a photo of them together, which provoked a strong reaction from Ukrainians.
Klopotenko wore black wide-leg pants, a green shirt with a fun print, and accent pink crocs. At the time, Zaluzhnyi posed in a dark vest and jeans, which he complemented with classic shoes. As the food blogger noted on Instagram, he and the general met in London as part of a charity dinner, with the proceeds going to help the military.
However, this was not the only thing the famous Ukrainians discussed that evening. "Zaluzhnyi doesn't like borscht. But we made a bet that I would change that. So stay tuned for news on this matter, in short. I don't know if I can do it in 80 days," the influencer wrote in the post.
Netizens reacted to the unexpected duet by sharing their emotions in the comments:
- "How can you dislike borscht?"
- "Great! I'm sure you will win, Mr. Chef!"
- "I hope that during his stay abroad, Mr. Valerii will get nostalgic for everything Ukrainian, and borscht will be among the first on this list."
- "There is no translation for the Cossack family."
- "The information about whether Zaluzhnyi likes borsch is classified and kept as a state secret. But in general, an information operation was conducted that Zaluzhnyi does not like borsch to confuse enemy intelligence."
- "Wow. Two such wonderful men together. Each working on his own front."
- "He just hasn't tasted a better version of this dish."
- "He must have been forced to eat borscht as a child. There is only one explanation."
- "This parquet has not seen pink crocs yet."
- "Ugh... is this Mr. Zaluzhnyi a Ukrainian?"
