The famous Ukrainian actress Kateryna Kuznetsova, who lived and worked in Russia for a long time but left the country after the full-scale invasion, spoke about a call from her father's friend. The star's father, Oleh Kuznetsov, is a footballer, a legendary player for Dynamo Kyiv and a former coach of the U-19 national team.

According to the actress, a friend of her parents called her and urged her to stay in Russia as the Ukrainian woman has achieved great success in her career there. She spoke about this in an interview with host Oleksii Sukhanov.

"It was as disgusting as possible," Kuznetsova said. The actress added that she does not understand how a person of her age, who "had an interesting, to some extent, perhaps even difficult path," has such a stance. "He said it so easily: you have nothing to lose, you've been going for this for so long. I was shocked, to be honest," she says.

The star did not name her acquaintance but noted that he was a friend of her father's with whom they had been friends throughout their childhood and adolescence. "So when he said that to me, I politely said thank you and hung up. From that moment on, we basically never called each other again and, of course, never crossed paths," Kateryna said.
