Today, on April 27, in Malmö, Sweden, the participants of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 took to the stage for the first time to rehearse their performances. Ukrainians Alyona Alyona & Jerry Heil, who arrived in the city the day before, have already managed to sing their hit song Teresa & Maria.

The author of the telegram channel "Eurofans. Eurovision News" shared his impressions of the number that the Ukrainian delegation performed on a large-scale stage. Some of the details are strikingly different from what the Ukrainians were shown at the National Selection.

In particular, new elements have been added and the images of the singers have changed, which caused discussion because of their solid black color. Now the stars' outfits are beige.

"The stage production includes elements of past performances, including the use of a rock similar to that of TEYA DORA, as well as props from last year's Brunette performance. Jerry Heil performs the song in a striking, feather-light dress, and alyona alyona takes center stage with a rap interlude," the readers were told.

Thanks to the stage lighting and visual effects, it was possible to recreate dark figures on stage. The stars' performance was described as a "breathtaking anthem."

The production reportedly aimed to demonstrate "the strength and richness of Ukraine's cultural identity through music." Currently, the performances are held without pyrotechnics.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA told you about the new voting rules for Eurovision 2024: now viewers will have more time to vote for their favorite. The audience voting in the final on May 11 will start not after the performances of all the contestants, but as soon as the first participant takes the stage.
