Identical twins Venessa and Kerissa Sealby had what they thought were different tastes in men until they met identical twins Lucas and Jacob. Before their first date, neither of them seriously hoped for a stormy romance and marriage, but now the two families live next door to each other and are raising children who, although they are cousins, share DNA like biological sisters.

Their story is not unique, but it has nevertheless attracted attention from the American media. In a conversation with Today, the sisters talked about how they live now.

Venessa and Lucas got married in October 2022, and Kerissa and Jacob exchanged wedding vows in June 2023. The sisters immediately realized which of the twin men they liked because they had different personalities.

Although their stories are quite similar, and their goals and hobbies are the same, Venessa and Kerissa try to position themselves as unique individuals, not just twin sisters. For example, they dress differently, refused to have a twin wedding, and have different social media accounts.

However, after the wedding and the birth of their children, the family moved in next door. "We live two steps away from each other. We are constantly running to each other's houses. I visit Venessa probably 10 times a day," said Kerissa.

She gave birth to her daughter first. Now little Sophie is 19 months old, and her younger cousin Adrian, the daughter of Venessa and Lucas, is only 5 months old.

Sophie and Adrian are cousins with genetics like their own. They are known as fraternal twins, which occur when one identical twin has children with another identical twin.
