"I'm afraid of childbirth": singer Lama confesses why she doesn't want to have children

Singer Lama (Natalia Dzenkiv), who became famous for her hits "I Need It So Bad," "My Heart," and "Airplane" in the 2000s, admitted that she did not want to have children primarily because she was afraid of childbirth. The artist chose the concept of childbirth, and her beloved Roman, who is 18 years younger, supported her decision.

Lama is not ready to be a mother and claims that caring for pets and personal problems take up so much time that children are out of the question. However, 8 years ago, when she started her relationship with Roman, the man talked a lot about his desire to raise his descendants. In an interview with Lux FM, the singer noted that her husband eventually gave up his idea.

"Once we discussed it when we started dating. And he said: "You know, I don't want children either. Why do we need them?" Lama says, "I realized that it's cool for us, it's our choice. We understand that our dogs are enough for us, and I understand that children are a very big responsibility. It's also a job, and you have to be a professional, a real mom, to raise a child, to give up some of yourself. And I realize that I have just learned to live, just learned to enjoy myself. I'm not ready to give up on myself."

According to the singer, she is afraid of the process of childbirth and therefore does not want to have children: "My biggest fear is that something will happen to me, that I will die during childbirth."

However, in case of an unexpected pregnancy, the artist is not going to have an abortion. She admitted that she has already thought about this option and is ready to raise a child if she gets pregnant.

"I wouldn't stop it, I wouldn't kill it. That's for sure. Unless I had some indications, because I'm of such an age that I don't know how it all goes on there," the artist added.
