Ukrainian theater and film actor Pavlo Aldoshyn, who is currently defending the country in the Armed Forces, spoke about his love for his native land. The soldier addressed his fellow countrymen and admitted that he misses his village of Semykhaty near Henichesk, Kherson region, which is currently occupied.

Aldoshyn shared his opinion that every Ukrainian should realize their self and their connection to their homeland. "I believe that a child should be brought up in love for himself or herself and for his or her land. I, a child, had to realize that my "I" comes from this basic point, because I have no other. This is where you were born, where your parents and friends are, where your goats, electric poles, fence, fields, Syvash are," he said in an exclusive interview with OBOZ.UA.

"Because they think in terms of 'so that there is no war,' that is, they are ready to live with another passport. This is a misconception, the opinion of a slave who is not even aware of his statehood, his citizenship, his belonging to a nation... These are wild things for them," said Pavlo Aldoshyn.

The soldier said he had heard many stories about his place of power, Lake Syvash. In particular, about how it turned red during World War II from the blood of soldiers, both Ukrainian and German. The actor believes that "this battle is still ahead" and even if nothing remains of his home, Aldoshyn will restore everything himself.
