American singer and rapper Melissa Jefferson, better known by her stage name Lizzo, has been working on improving her figure for a long time, resorting to strength training and calorie deficit. The 36-year-old star shared with her fans the good news that she has finally managed to achieve her weight loss goal.
As the singer noted on her Instagram page, it was the first time since 2014 that she saw the desired number on the scales. Although the celebrity did not disclose exactly how many kilograms she managed to lose, she posted a photo showing that the artist has reduced her body mass index by 10.5 and lost 16% of her body fat since January 2024.

Lizzo confidently posed for the camera in a trendy burgundy tracksuit consisting of leggings and a top. The rapper braided her hair into two pigtails and put on an abstract print bandana.
"I did it. Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!" the star wrote.
