"I have never experienced such horror": 'The Bachelor' winner Shulgina gets in touch from the epicenter of the Los Angeles fire
Oleksandra Shulgina, the winner of the first season of the romantic reality show The Bachelor, found herself in the midst of a massive fire that has engulfed parts of the western regions of Los Angeles. The blogger and her family had to evacuate their home, as they live near areas that have already been severely affected by the fire.
The fitness trainer wrote about the terrible events on her Instagram page. The woman noted that the most important thing for her now is that everyone stay alive.
On social media, Oleksandra Shulgina showed that her day had started absolutely normally. She drove her daughter to school, but was forced to pick up her heiress a few hours later. The administration of the school sent a message to the parents stating: "Due to smoky air and unfavorable weather conditions, we have decided to close the school for the rest of the day. Please make your way to school safely to pick up your children as soon as possible."
As the blogger noted, the fire cannot be extinguished because the strong winds in the city do not subside. The fitness trainer's family home is located only 10 minutes from the fire's epicenter, so they had to quickly pack up and wait to see if the evacuation of their neighborhood would be announced.
"The fires cannot be stopped, they have moved on. The wind will be strong for another day. I have never felt such horror before. The school of my son's Superman (as Shulgina calls her American husband) has burned down, friends' houses, parks, shops, cars, and people who did not have time to evacuate are burning. I pray that everyone will survive. We'll get our things, we'll earn them, we'll buy them. Thank you for your messages, we are safe," the blogger wrote.
