On Sunday, June 30, the Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on Kyiv. During an air raid, the fragments of a Russian missile hit an apartment building in the Obolon district. TNMK frontman Oleh Mykhailiuta (Fagot) was at the epicenter of the explosion.
In a commentary to OBOZ.UA, the singer admitted how he reacted to what happened. He also spoke about the reaction of people who also witnessed the hit.
"Last night I came to Obolon, parked my car near my house, and ten minutes later it hit me right next to it," says the musician. Maybe I reacted that way because it happened right next door... People reacted differently. Someone, running, exclaimed: "Here we are with the baptism of fire." Some ran in tears and hysteria to the entrance where it happened. I didn't hear the sound of the air raid alarm, so everything was unexpected."
Mykhailiuta says that his common-law wife, designer Olha Navrotska, learned about the incident from his Instagram post. The musician wrote on the social network: "This is how I came to water the flowers at home."

On the evening of June 30, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported on the work of air defense in the Kyiv region. Later, the mayor informed that the debris of a downed missile fell on a house in Obolon. Later it became known that several residents of the building had sought medical help due to an acute stress reaction. One woman was hospitalized.
"The 14-storey building has partial destruction of balconies on two floors. There is also a threat of balcony destruction on another floor. The fire in the building has been localized. Rescuers continue to check the apartments," the mayor of Kyiv informed.
According to the SES, the falling debris damaged balconies on the 6th and 7th floors. There is also a threat of destruction of the balcony on the 8th floor of the high-rise building. 10 residents were evacuated from the building in Obolon.
