Prince Harry lost his mother, Princess Diana, in a car accident in Paris at the age of 12, and it was a heavy loss for him at such a young age. Over time, he was able to come to terms with it, and now he has shared his experience with a warrior's widow in Azerbaijan, which brought him to tears.

Nikki Scott, founder of the charity organization Scotty's Little Soldiers, told Prince Harry how she told her 5-year-old son Kai about his father's death in the war in Afghanistan in 2009. According to the Daily Express, the Duke of Sussex supported the woman and shared his own story.

During a certain part of the conversation, Prince Harry could hardly hold back his tears. It was noticeable on his face that he began to blink his eyes more often and bite his lips. Later, he put his hands together and held them close to his face to hide his emotions.

"It was the worst. How do you say that to a five-year-old? I picked him up, sat him down on the bed, and asked him, 'Kai, do you remember where your dad was? "Yes, in Afghanistan," and I said: "Something really bad happened, and the bad guys hurt my dad, and he died," the woman shared her memories. Later, Nikki Scott recalled how Prince Harry lost his mother because for children there is no difference whether a loved one died in a war or in a car accident.

Then the Duke shared a piece of advice to help you get over the loss of a loved one.

"You convince yourself that the person you lost wants you to grieve as long as possible to prove to them that they are missed. But once you realize that if I talk about it and celebrate their life, it actually makes it easier, as opposed to 'I'm just not going to talk about it and that's the best way to cope' when it's not. If you suppress it for too long, you can't suppress it forever, it's not sustainable, and it will eat you up inside," the prince said.
