Home Alone favorite Macaulay Culkin got a star on the Walk of Fame: his meeting with his on-screen mom touched users. Photos then and now
Famous American actor Macaulay Culkin, 42, who became a symbol of Christmas and New Year's Eve after playing the lead role in the movie Home Alone, received his star on the Walk of Fame. At a ceremony in Hollywood, he met his on-screen mom, Catherine O'Hara who played Kate in the movie. The star was also supported by his wife Brenda and sons.
They don't often go out and attend social events, so the actor's fans had a rare opportunity to see his entire family. By the way, the star dedicated a very touching speech to his wife. The ceremony was reported by People journalists.
"You are absolutely everything to me. You are my champion. For me, you are the only person who is happier than I am today. You are the best woman I have ever known, you are the best person I have ever known. You gave me the meaning of life. You gave me a family," the actor proclaimed.
Listening to the warm words, Brenda burst into tears. The lovers have known each other since 2017, but they got married only recently.
His colleague from the movie Home Alone also came to support the star. The meeting with his on-screen mom was especially touching. Fans were able to see live how the main actors of the movie - Kevin and his mother Kate - have changed.
Culkin's youngest son Carson is not even a year old but he was also brought to the celebration. The couple had their first child in April 2021.
