Holding hands with the Russian: the winner of "Mrs. World 2023" from Kherson got into a loud scandal. Photo

Irina Bessmertnaya from Kherson won the "Mrs. World 2023", but got into a scandal with a Russian woman

Iryna Bessmertnaya, 36, a native of Kherson, which continues to be terrorized by the occupants, has become the winner of Ms.World International 2023. The contest was held in Miami, where about one hundred contestants from different countries of the world, including Russia, came to fight for the crown. Two representatives of the terrorist country were in the top five, and during the announcement of the results, the Ukrainian held one of them by the hands.

It should be noted at once that Bessmertnaya represented not Ukraine, but the United States. To be more precise, on her personal page in Instagram shortly before the contest she indicated such information: "In the finals of Ms. World International 2023 I will represent the married women of America. Girls from all over the world are flying in! And I'm very lucky that the pageant will be held in Miami, 15 minutes from our home."

Apparently, Irina has been living abroad for a long time. Despite this, at the "Mrs. World" she occasionally positioned herself as a Ukrainian, in particular demonstrated the blue-yellow flag. And the description of Bessmertnaya's profile in social networks says: "From Ukraine".

However, the Kherson native hastily forgot about her roots when she decided to take her competitor, Russian Anastasia Mashkina, by the hands before the winner's name was announced.

As you can understand from the photos and videos published on Ms.World International 2023's Instagram page, the atmosphere at the contest was friendly, which in no way embarrassed the representative of America who hails from Ukraine. She was kindly photographed with citizens of the aggressor country, who, judging by social networks, support Putin's regime and are proud of their state.

During the announcement of the results, Irina stood between Anastasia Mashkina and another representative of the Russian Federation, Anastasia Tizova. The women applauded and smiled flatteringly at each other. Apparently, the cynical "apolitical" position of such contests suits Kherson, for whom the crown and a beautiful picture were more important than honor.

At the same time, immediately after her victory, Bessmertnaya posted a post on social media in Russian saying that she was "incredibly proud to be a Ukrainian representing the U.S. at the world level."

"The new Mrs. World! This is Victory! The main crown is ours! I'm incredibly proud to be a Ukrainian representing the U.S. at the world level and to win the main crown! Very symbolic - on the Flag Day of Ukraine and on the eve of Independence Day! At the most decisive moment, I looked at the developing Ukrainian flags in the front rows - it warmed my heart and gave me encouragement! Despite where you are, it is important not to forget who you are and where your path began," the woman said.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote, earlier "Miss Ukraine Universe" Victoria Apanasenko admitted that until the last believed in the humanity of her competitor from the terrorist country of the Russian Federation Anna Linnikova. The beauty from Chernihiv assumed that the Russian would come up to her and apologize for the actions of her homeland without officiousness, however, as it was to be expected, it did not happen.
