He showed who was the boss: Charles III hinted in a conversation with his subjects whose "instructions" help him fight cancer
King Charles III of Great Britain has hinted who in the family is most concerned about his health after the announcement of his cancer. During a walk on Easter Sunday with Queen Camilla, he made it clear that he was not alone with the disease and had strong support.
This happened during a conversation with his subjects, writes Nello Magazine. The 75-year-old ruler has rarely gone public in recent months, but on the occasion of the holiday, he decided to talk to the British.
One of them said: "Happy Easter, Your Majesty. Never give up, keep going," referring to the King's treatment.
In response, he looked at his wife and smiled, saying, "I'm just following instructions."
The journalists joked that this was the monarch's way of "showing who's boss". Other people told him, "We wish you health" and "Please get well soon."
One woman even gave His Majesty a homemade card wishing him a speedy recovery. "Thank you, it's very nice. Did you make it?" he asked.
Charles and Camilla led the royal family in attending the annual Easter service at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on Sunday morning. The King rarely attends public events but still commits to private meetings with a small number of people.
Many of his royal duties are now performed by his wife, which is admired by the British.
