"He organizes concerts for us." Nataliia Sumska tells us what her only son is doing now

Viacheslav Khostikoiev, the son of famous Ukrainian actors Anatolii Khostikoiev and Nataliia Sumska, works at the same theater as his parents, the Ivan Franko National Drama Theater. The actor also has a creative hobby - he is actively engaged in film dubbing.

Nataliia Sumska, the actor's mother, People's Artist of Ukraine, told OBOZ.UA in an interview. The actor took up dubbing at his mother's suggestion.

"Slava does a lot of dubbing - it's one of his favorite hobbies," says the actress. "Right now the movie 'Wonka' is showing in theaters - the main character speaks in his voice in Ukrainian. And Dune is also about him. We act together in our theater's productions - The Incomparable, Suite for Foreigners, and The Kaidash Family. Separately, my son plays in The Witch of Konotop, The Talentless, and the production of Martin Borulia.

The son lives separately from his parents, but, according to his mother, the family likes to get together: "We got together on New Year's Eve and spent time together. I am happy with such moments: we reminisce, joke, communicate, and parody. It's inherent in our family to bring acting into everyday life. Slava is a joker, it's in him by nature, since his youth. He organizes whole concerts for us. He's a great guy! He has a comedic talent, it's a very rare gift."

Viacheslav Khostikoiev is a famous theater and film actor (Crazy Wedding 3, Specialists, Threads of Fate), and also one of the most sought-after voice actors. In a recent interview, Slava admitted that his mother opened the world of dubbing for him when he was still at school: "My mom worked with a post-production studio. When I arrived at the studio, I was immediately thrown to the front line: it was a big series. And then series after series, movie after movie, and experience came. This is a very cool profession."
