The athlete shared the photos on her Instagram page. They show the woman with her adopted son, who is now almost two heads taller than her. The collection also includes Vadym's childhood photos.

"I don't know how not to be proud of you, I learn from you and am happy for you. Son, may your steps always reach the top, and remember that everything is just beginning," she said in the post. Podkopaeva also noted that her son entered the university and became the best student, receiving a scholarship.

As a reminder, the gymnast adopted a boy when he was 8 months old. When she saw the baby in one of Donetsk's orphanages, she decided that she would not leave without him. In an interview with Gordon, the star told how Vadim grabbed her hand with his little fingers. "It was love at first sight," she said.
Podkopaeva admitted that the baby took an immediate liking to her.

Liliya Podkopaeva also has a daughter from her ex-husband, Karolina, born in 2006, and a younger daughter, Evelina, from businessman Ihor Dubinsky. "Without Vadym, there would be no Karolina and vice versa. I always tell them that they are one and the same. And wherever they are, there is no one closer to them," the athlete said.
