Who is among the nominees for the prestigious Grammy 2025 music award
The Recording Academy of America has announced the list of nominees for the honorary Grammy Awards 2025. Representatives of various genres of the industry will compete for the title of the best, and music lovers will learn the names of the winners on February 2, 2025.
As you know, Ukrainian musicians have applied to represent Ukraine at the world-famous ceremony. In particular, Eurovision 2024 star, singer Jerry Heil, who recently became a member of the Recording Academy, submitted her song "All Eyes On Kids" in the Song For Social Change nomination. The main idea of the track is to draw public attention to the war in Ukraine, as well as to children who have been illegally taken to Russia.
Meanwhile, the band "Okean Elzy" submitted the song "Lighthouse" from their new English-language album to compete in the Song Of The Year and Best Rock Song nominations.
However, American music experts ignored the work of Ukrainian musicians this year. Nevertheless, Jerry Heil still has a chance to win a golden statuette, as the Song For Social Change nomination is announced during the ceremony itself. Among others, the list of nominees also includes such famous names as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and the phenomenon of rock - Sabrina Carpenter.
