From "ugly duckling" to sex symbol: how Vera Brezhneva changed and why she did not find happiness in her personal life
Singer Vera Brezhneva from Dniprodzerzhynsk is often called the "sex symbol" of showbiz and one of the most beautiful Ukrainian artists. She gained this fame when she became the lead singer of Viagra and turned out to be one of the few members of the trio who managed to achieve tremendous success in her solo career. However, the star did not consider herself attractive for a very long time.
As is often the case, complexes about her appearance have been following her since childhood. During her school years, she was not the most popular or desirable girl, and sometimes even faced bullying. On the occasion of Vera Brezhneva's birthday, who celebrates her 42nd birthday on February 3, we decided to recall what the star was like as a child.

Personal life
Although the singer is pursued by the fame of a "sex symbol," she has not found happiness in her personal life.
At the age of 19, the then-student first fell in love with Vitaly Voichenko, who became the father of her daughter. Brezhneva's mother said that the star was disappointed in her chosen one, and he, already a successful official, admitted for a long time that he regretted the breakup.
In 2006, the singer married businessman Mikhail Kiperman, but divorced 6 years later. The singer admitted that she felt unhappy and cried a lot, but later it turned out that the story was not so simple.
