The winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 has been named

On Sunday, November 26, the final of the extensive Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 took place. Strong vocalists from 16 countries competed for victory. According to the results of both audience and judges' voting, Zoé Clauzure from France received the highest number of points.

The French participant triumphed with the rhythmic song "Cœur." This information was revealed to OBOZ.UA during the live broadcast.

Zoé Clauzure took the lead during the voting by the professional jury, earning an impressive 136 points. Additionally, through the audience vote, she garnered another 92 points. In total, she accumulated 228 points, securing her victory in the competition.

France is followed by Spain (201 points), Armenia (180 points), the United Kingdom (160 points), and Ukraine (128 points).

France has now secured victory in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for the third time in the last four years and for the second consecutive year. In 2022, the winner was 13-year-old French contestant Lissandro, who presented this year's winner's statuette to his compatriot. 

It is known that the current year's winner is no stranger to the grand stage and has prior connections with Eurovision. For instance, the teenage pianist from Montrouge performed alongside Amir, a participant in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest from France, and French singer-songwriter Yseult.

Zoé Clauzure has recorded several original songs and even reached the semifinals of The Voice Kids (France) in 2020.

The talented young star, who excels as a songwriter, writes lyrics and chords in a notebook, arranges them using Logic Pro, and records her covers on the piano to share them on her social media.
