For the first time, Serhii Tanchynets told how he ended up in a wheelchair far from home
Serhii Tanchynets, the leader of the Ukrainian band "Bez obmezhen", said that during the tour he was in a wheelchair due to a hernia. The situation was so bad that the star had to undergo surgery.
It happened when Tanchynets was touring Europe with his band. He had back problems before, but due to a number of factors, they developed into a hernia. The singer spoke about this in his interview for TSN's YouTube project "Naodyntsi"
The doctors explained to the artist that "the spine is not adapted to walk straight," and the singer said that after the outbreak of a full-scale war, he was stressed and sat a lot, which caused the protrusions to "turn into a hernia."
"It started to hurt a bit, but there was no time to get treatment. Then it caught me, we canceled several concerts. I had 10 days to get it punctured in the hospital. They put me back on my feet for a bit. And it's that deceptive story when you get a little patched up and you run on," the singer recalled.

He made it through the North American tour and was already touring Europe when, three concerts before the final performance, he realized he couldn't bend.
"I was twisted. At the last concert in Denmark, I was already walking a little bit, and sitting on a chair a little bit. Then I got twisted. I stood at a 90-degree angle and could not bend. I was taken to the airport in this wheelchair. It looked quite uncomfortable," the artist admitted for the first time.
From Denmark to Lviv, Serhii Tanchynets could not get pain relief, because in Europe it is impossible to buy such drugs without a prescription, and the star did not have time to make an appointment with a doctor.
"I could not get pain relief for 4 days on the way from Denmark to Lviv. Then, in Lviv, the doctors said that there was no way out except for surgery. We did the surgery. Now I'm undergoing rehabilitation and hope that everything will be fine," the singer added.
