For the first time, Ukrainian restaurateur Yevhen Klopotenko spoke about his secret romance with MasterChef season six finalist Kateryna Pieskova. According to the culinary expert, he tried three times to build a romantic relationship with his colleague, but nothing worked out because they could not fully understand their feelings.

The chef spoke about this in an interview on Alina Dorotiuk's YouTube channel. He noted that he was not ready to go into the details of his personal life in order not to offend the pastry chef.

According to Yevhen Klopotenko, he met Kateryna Pieskova during her participation in MasterChef. The colleagues quickly found a common language, so they tried three times to build a good relationship, but, unfortunately, nothing happened. The restaurateur noted that he felt most comfortable spending time with the pastry chefs because they always had something to discuss. He admitted that he still keeps in touch with her.

"We can talk a lot about food. She comes and talks for two hours about the flavors of desserts. Once she brought 15 desserts, and I made ceviche with dorado. We ate fish, Beef Wellington and left: "Napoleon, Shu cakes, tiramisu, something else. I said: "Katia, can I stop now?" But you have to eat, to appreciate the taste. The next day I didn't eat anything at all. But it was just wow! You intensify some things, and she does the same," Klopotenko said about his relationship with his colleague.

As the restaurateur said, he has very similar views on life to Kateryna Pieskova. Their tastes and beliefs coincide in many ways, but they have not been able to build a relationship.

"We are too close to friendship. The biggest problem is that you want to be a friend, but you also want something more. To be honest, I couldn't figure it out," the chef said.
