Famous Ukrainian singer Oleh Vynnyk performed Russian-language songs at a concert in Czech Republic. Video

Ukrainian singer Oleh Vynnyk, who fled his homeland at the beginning of the Russian invasion, gave a concert in the Czech capital, Prague, after a long break from the stage. The 51-year-old singer performed his popular hits, including Russian-language ones.

The video was posted on the xalusS Telegram channel. The video shows the artist singing his track Schastye (Happiness) together with the audience.

Oleh Vynnyk's decision to entertain the audience with Russian-language songs caused a real outrage among netizens, who, without holding back their emotions, shared their thoughts.

"I don't understand how much more your country and your countrymen have to be destroyed to bring back the 'Ukrainian integrity' that Stalin hated so much."

"Back in 2014-2015, my mom was a fan of his, she was always on her phone, watching all the concerts. And I was constantly telling her that it was stupid and that he was a questionable person. It turned out my hunch was on point."

It is worth noting that Vynnyk's act caused negative emotions among Ukrainians for a reason. The fact is that, as the author of the kirs_tv Telegram channel recalled, in 2023, the singer gave an interview in which he said, "If I say a word in Russian on stage, I will just vomit on myself."

However, it seems that Oleh Vynnyk's ideas have changed somewhat since then.
