For the past two years, the renowned Ukrainian singer and producer Natalia Mohylevska has been raising two girls she adopted from an orphanage. She revealed this on New Year's Eve, causing great surprise among her fans, who were unaware that the 48-year-old star was a mother. While some people reacted with delight to the news, there were also many haters. The latter wrote, in particular, that the artist is allegedly promoting herself through her adopted children. Mohylevska herself considers such accusations absurd.
According to the People's Artist of Ukraine, she stopped actively pursuing her career 10 years ago, so she had no interest in promoting herself in any way. Mohylevska shared her thoughts, as well as stories about motherhood and raising adopted children, on InstaStories.
One of her followers asked the singer if she was offended when haters wrote about the star's children as a "PR stunt."
Mohylevska replied: "It's strange to hear that. I left my career at the peak of my success 10 years ago and hardly released any songs or promoted anything. Everyone understood that I was lonely and going somewhere in India. And then I came back, adopted two children, and hid it for two years. There will always be those who see the world through the prism of their disappointments."

The artist also shared that at the beginning it was not easy for her to communicate with her two daughters, but love and support helped her cope and become a mother to the girls. By the way, the children already call the performer "mom."

"It was hard at first, but I learned, found contact and patience. I was always equal in my love and support. Gradually, the children relaxed and believed that they were safe and that everything would be fine," the celebrity shared.

The singer's daughters are named Michelle and Sofia. At the time of their adoption, Michelle was 2 years old and Sofia was 10. Now the younger one is 3.5, and the older one is 12. Natalia disclosed the girls' names during a conversation with journalist Olena Froliak.
