The world-famous Ukrainian music video director Tanu Muino, who is directing Ukraine's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, has spoken out about the draw for the grand final. Tomorrow, on May 11, we will see the performances of all the finalists and finally learn the name of the winner.

According to the results of the draw, the duo alyona alyona & Jerry Heil drew the "lucky ticket" – "producers' choice", which was one of the innovations of the 68th song contest. The organizers decided to give the Ukrainians the second number in the final, which is also called the "death spot " or "death position."

"The death spot from the Eurovision team," Muino wrote on Insta-stories. Eurofans were disappointed with this choice of producers, because traditionally, after showing all 26 participants, the first numbers are forgotten. The network started talking about the possibility that the organizers could have deliberately "drained" Ukraine, Muzvar writes. Instead, alyona alyona and Jerry Heil didn't get upset but urged their fans to support them. This year, the voting in the grand final begins with the first performance, not after all the representatives of the finalist countries have taken the stage. That is why the performers hope for a favorable outcome. In addition, the rapper suggested that opening the final is better than performing in the middle of the show because there are many more viewers at the beginning of the broadcast.
