Dmitriy Nagiev's cryptic New Year greeting makes Russians hysterical: Ukrainians thank the presenter for his support

Russian actor Dmitriy Nagiev, who sometimes delicately hints at his disagreement with the Kremlin's policies but still avoids directly condemning the war, outraged Russians with his New Year's greetings. Ukrainians, on the other hand, thanked him.

Comments with warm wishes appeared under the artist's Instagram post. While walking his dog, he filmed a message to his followers.

"Happy new, kind, peaceful, beautiful, just, free, reliable year," Nagiev said, smiling.

Many users from Ukraine interpreted this message as a call for peace, justice and freedom, which many Ukrainians are currently being deprived of due to Russian Federation.

Interestingly, the Russians also perceived Nagiev's congratulations in this way. One of the propaganda Telegram channels demanded that the artist immediately define his position on the war in Ukraine.

"Down with the dizziness of success, let's say no to anal contusion. Happy New Year. Wait for orders," the actor fueled Putinists' irritation.

In the comments, he was called a "creature", although Nagiev continues to work with Russian companies. Some even suggested that the wish to "wait for orders" was related to possible mobilization after the elections in Russia.
