The daughter of American film actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Shiloh, has officially renounced her father's surname. On the day of her 18th birthday, which was celebrated on May 27, she published an announcement in the Los Angeles Times, after which it was considered by lawmakers.

The girl finally decided to remove the "Pitt" part of her surname, changing her name to Shiloh Jolie, People reports. The young American woman decided to take this step because her father, who was upset by his daughter's act, hardly communicates with his older children.

To officially complete the name change process, Shiloh Pitt has hired her own lawyer and is paying all the necessary expenses herself.
